I was browsing through Barnes and Noble one night and came across this lil gem, "Return to Beauty" by Narine Nikogosian is filled with endless recipes for all different kinds of face masks, body scrubs, cleansers and creams! and thats just the tip of the ice berg. Few reasons why I had to absolutely own this book:
- Just about everything can be made in 10 minutes or less
- Most of the ingredients needed can be found in your kitchen
- If you cant afford the fancy schmancy scrubs in store, you can easily MAKE YOUR OWN at an affordable price
Narine even includes specific recipes based on astrological signs. Now how cool is that?!?!
Some recipes I came across that are totally worth the mention:
Orange Vodka Toner
- 2 Tablespoons Vodka
- 1 Tablespoon of Orange Zest
- 1 Quarter Cup of Water
Pomegranate Cleanser
- 2 Equal Parts of:
- Pomegranate Juice
- Milk
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- Blend till green
There are so many more old world recipes!!! Definitely educational and interesting!
